Ski into Stillness

Group Ski + Warm Yin Yoga

Meet up with the group and swoosh your way through the majestic snow filled paths at Caledonia Nordic. Laugh and play in the winter wonderland that is our backyard. Then meet at Sunset Studio for a heated Yin class to warm up and chill out.

❄️Meeting at the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club at 10:30am (if you are not a member of the club, drop in is $25 to be paid to their office, you can also borrow equipment, not included in price)

Ski adventure will be "go at your own pace" so all level are welcome. We will try staying together based on ski experience.

❤️In this Bhakti Yoga series, Melissa will guide students on a journey of self-discovery, leading both new and experienced practitioners alike in opening a conversation with the heart, mining those big feelings to extract the gold of inner truth and a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in your practice.

We will explore mudras (hand gestures), mantras (sacred sounds), meditating on the heart and emotions, transformational breathwork, and gentle movement in weekly practices that offer us a boat to cross the stormy seas of life, with the heart as our lighthouse.

Baby and Me Series

With Shelley Anderson Tuesdays 10:30-11:30am

This series uses yoga postures into which parents gently guide their baby. These postures improve digestion, relieve gas pains and mild colic, improve sleep, help with parent/child bonding, and many other benefits. We also include yoga for you, the parent, to relieve the changes in your body you experienced from having given birth or from the changes in how you now use your body (lifting, carrying, holding a baby, etc.), and to relieve stress. Shelley incorporates her joy of working with babies and their parents into the practice along with her knowledge of infant development, infant massage, and yoga for adults. This is gentle practice and a great way to connect with your baby and other parents. No prior yoga experience needed.

THE FIRST BEGINNER SERIES OF 2025!

In this beginner series, Melissa will cover the basics of yoga including movement, breath work and meditation. Classes will begin with centering and stillness, followed by movement into basic yoga poses and we will finish with a guided savasana meditation. The classes will gradually develop over the series.

This series is great for beginners or those looking to go back to the basics!

Join Vanessa for the Mat Pilates Series designed to strengthen the body, improve flexibility, stamina and enhance body awareness. Led by certified pilates instructor, this series will blend the traditional Pilates sequence with contemporary excercises to create a dynamic and engaging workout suitable for all fitness levels.

In this class, you will focus on controlled movements, developing the muscles of the body in a consistent way. Pilates is known for its transformative effects on the body, promoting long, lean muscles and increased mobility.
