Our Weekly Classes
All classes on the schedule are drop in unless otherwise noted.
Both classes are beneficial and accessible for all levels from new to advanced, from beginner to beyond. Foundations will help you learn the basics, fundamentals, and alignment of asanas(poses), assisting you to feel more confident and safe during practice. Gentle Yoga will stretch you safely in a relaxed and slow process.
Whether you have a lot of stress in your life, live with anxiety or depression, need better sleep or want a class to nurture your whole self, this is the class for you. We incorporate some gentle yoga poses, pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and deep restorative poses designed to nourish your body, mind, and spirit. Take time to rest and renew, a critical practice we should include in our busy lives.

Yin Yoga is a quiet and peaceful practice, postures are more passive and mainly done on the floor. It is a series of long held poses working deeply into body. Yin can be an easy practice or a challenging one, the intensity is always up to you. You will go into each stretch or pose for 2-10 minutes which helps access our deeper tissues: Connective, ligaments, and facia.
Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures. This ancient, classic yoga style encourages a healthy mind-body connection. Your teacher will guide you through classic yoga poses that will tone muscles, promote flexibility and mobility and improve your balance.
Is also called "Yoga Flow" because we flow through yoga poses (asanas) that run together to create a dynamic vinyasa flow - like a dance. Vinyasa is literally translated from Sanskrit as meaning "connection". The breath becomes an important component of this connection, linking breath to movement continuously as we flow through different sequences. The teacher will instruct you when to inhale and exhale as you move from one pose into the next.
A perfect harmony of fast vinyasa, connecting breath to movement, with just the right amount of relaxing yin. This class is sure to get clear your mind, and send you off feeling refreshed and completely satiated. A great class to get the best of both worlds.
Our core is an integral part of the body that needs to be strong and flexible. This 45 minuet class in designed to wake up your core with a series of balance postures, strengthening exercises, breathing techniques, and alignment based asana. All levels welcome.
Rise and Shine:
Something to get up early for! Start your day off with a nourishing practice that will soothe your body, refresh your mind, and awaken your spirit. This class starts off with restorative/yin postures and finishes with nourishing Vinyasa to ease tension and gain flexibility for your busy day ahead.
During Yoga Nidra the student remains completely passive in the pose of savasana (corpse pose.) Our registered Theta Healer Rachel Mcferran speaks in a beautiful, song-like voice, guiding the students through a visualization meditation. The benefits of a thirty minuet Yoga Nidra session resemble the affects of four hours of deep REM sleep.

Yoga fused with Pilates and traditional fitness exercises with added weights. Targeting a variety of things like strength, balance, stability, core strength and endurance to challenge your muscles in different ways - toning the entire body and improving cardio vascular health. This challenging but fun class provides fast, effective workouts for people with busy schedules. Our goal is to have you leaving each class feeling strong, happy and empowered.
Studio to Sanctuary:
This class is designed to support you in creating a "personal practice," a yoga practice that you can do anywhere, anytime and that is guided by your personal needs and interests.
*Class will start with a guided "invocation" or meditation to get into the yoga groove. After, instructor Andra will have handouts, posters, and her instruction to offer in helping you to develop a flow or a practice that meets your specific needs, and that you can take home with you to complement your studio practice.
